Pete Davidson Hints He's Checking Into Rehab On 'SNL'

Pete Davidson's appearances on Saturday Night Live have been few and far between this year, but on Saturday (December 21) he showed up on "Weekend Update" to talk about Eddie Murphy's triumphant return to the show and President Trump's impeachment; however, his winter hiatus plans got some fans concerned.

"I'm going on 'vacation' but insurance pays for some of it, and they take your phone and shoe laces," the comedian said, hinting that he plans to check himself into reha, "and it costs $100,000 but I still have roommates."

The comment comes a year after the 26-year-old wrote an alarming message on Instagram, causing fans and those close to him worried for his well-being.

Elsewhere in the segment, Davidson congratulated Colin Jost for his engagement to Scarlett Johansson and addressed his own relationship with Kaia Gerber.

"You get to date a famous woman and everyone's delighted, but I do it and America wants to punch me in the throat," he said, referring to the fact his new girlfriend is 18 years old. He then quipped that he's probably the best choice when it comes down to guys that look like him.

"There's a million guys who look like me and I'm the only one who has a job," Davidson said. "It's like me or Tyga."
